OVERVIEW

The Session will meet the needs of academy and industry professionals 
by providing the latest information regarding advancements in forensic 
techniques, tools, and processes; trends in cyber-crime, terrorism, and 
information warfare; emerging legal and regulatory issues; accounting, 
compliance, and fraud considerations; and changes in the IT security 
marketplace.

PAPER SUBMISSION
================
The Special Session committee welcome both theoretical and applied 
research papers. The Special Session will consist of original work, 
work-in-progress, case studies or or respectably and well-motivated 
future research. Submissions must not substantially overlap papers 
that have been previously or that are simultaneously submitted to 
another conference with proceedings or journal.

Submissions must be at most 16 pages including figures, tables 
and references. The manuscripts must be written in English conforming 
to the "Springer LNCS Series" format and should be submitted to 
Aniello Castiglione (castiglione@ieee.org or castiglione@acm.org).

PUBBLICATION 
===========
Proceedings of the accepted papers will be published in the Springer
LNCS Series and will be available at the conference. In order to 
be published, for each paper at least one of the authors must register 
and present the paper at the Workshop.
Outstanding papers will be recommended to submit an extended version 
to one of the following journal's special issues:
- J. of Computing and Informatics (CAI.SK, ISSN: 1335-9150)
- J. of Computers & Electrical Engineering (Elsevier, ISSN: 0045-7906)
- J. of Internet Technology (JIT, ISSN: 1607-9264)
